About my ratings:
I review books with the typical rating of up to 5 stars. For a young adult book, I think about how much I liked it, but I also keep in mind the target audience. So essentially, the rating is based on how much I think young adults will enjoy the book- but I also recognize that my own preferences may influence the rating.
I generally do not post books that I would rate as lower than a 4 out of 5. I read widely and frequently, and only post the best young adult books on my site. You can see my overall rating on Goodreads, Instagram, or in the book photo, indicated by the number of eggs in the bird nest!
